Stole this from the Evian Masters' Twitter page

Picture of Ai right after she sunk a 5-foot birdie putt for the win

First picture of Miyazato winning the Evian Masters! on Twitpic

Great win for Ai.....I'm very happy for her.

Can you imagine the size of the Japanese press corps at the RWBO next week?

I was hoping our old friend Sophie would win but Ai is a very popular winner with everyone.

The monkey is finally off her back. In Japan she was expected to win earlier. Great win for her.........Sophie would have been a very popular winner on this site.....

Ya.... no more huge monkey to tote around. It must be like waking up from a bad dream, and seeing nothing but warm sunshine finally.

Sophie almost won the event when her eagle just missed on the 18th hole. That gave Ai a chance to get her first LPGA win. And she did just that, needing only one more chance in a one hole playoff to secure an important piece of golf history for her golf career. No more best that never won. Congratulations Ai Miyazato.... now one up on Mika in the LPGA. :-)

A little link to the Evian site.... with a very short interview with Ai, (longer with TV to come I think).
