Natalie get's It

I was hesitant in posting this article because I didn't want to break-up the Tseng Fires Caddie post, it contained a lot of interesting comments.

I wanted to bring this to your attention before it becomes old news. I always maintained that Ms. Gulbis is tireless in her attemps to promote the game of golf and the LPGA. I just read this article today.

Natalie Gulbis really gets it. I had the privilege to be a walking scorer in her group (at the Kraft Nabisco Championship) and observed that she took the time to go outside the ropes and sign an autograph of a young man in a handicapped cart. She did this during a middle of the round and unsolicited.
When I told her that she made that young man very happy, she shrugged it off and said that even though she was playing poorly, he came to see her and that was her job.
What a great example of a professional sports figure!

The Tseng Fires Caddie thread has become an internet classic.

Although we differ in our opinion of Natalie Gulbis,I would never deny she is a class act on the golf course.

Nice highlight, good spot Bala. Surely there are other instances when acts like this take place. I give credit to the reporter who calls it to our attention!
