The wedding took place in Seoul at 6 pm on the 12th at the Celadon Grand Wicker (?) Hill Hotel. The loving couple met in 2007 on the set of a TV program and have been head over heels in love almost ever since.

Very nice.

Is there some tradition for the groom to wear white gloves?

Cool

Well, Blue.....one thing about being old is that I can answer questions like yours:

Years ago it was proper for gentlemen in formal dress to wear white
gloves so that his hands, being sweaty or tobacco stained, would
not soil the dress of his lady when they danced.

There was a certain amount of danger involved as the wearing of silk gloves almost always caused the champagne flute to slip from the hand. This catastrophe occurred with more frequency as the hour grew later.

My head is a storehouse of useless information.

Thanks for posting those pix, Icecat. Very nice.

Wow....I know many Koreans are not tall people...and certainly Kimmie isn't....but those men are really short too.

Her Dad is shorter than her (!) and the new Hubby looks to be just slightly taller.

The wedding dress looks really pretty. I'm curious though....I believe someone once posted the wedding pix of Hee Won Han, and that was done in all traditional Korean "wedding" wear. I wonder why Kimmie chose to have a "Western" wedding.
