Wiesy got lucky the cut-line went up to +1. It must be a long wait for her!

Hi ya dangerbob....Wiesy got VERY VERY lucky....I was positive that the cut line would be even or better....when I got off the computer after Wiesy finished her round...it REALLY looked like the cutline would be -1

I am thinking the winds picked up in the afternoon for the Higher afternoon scores

BUT the bottom line is that WieNation gets to see Wiesy play on Sunday and keep her "Making Cuts" string going

have a good day...see ya!!

Hey Wiefan...I have a scenario for you. Suppose Wiesy was trying to putt and while aiming...her caddy farted and she started laughing and accidentally touched the ball...what's the penalty on that? And it was 2:00PM, local time, and her caddy just had sushi for lunch and because the game was slow they were being timed. So, the other player, whose ball was next to Wiesy's refused to putt and waited for a while. Is there a penalty because her time to putt has elapsed.

Anyone can answer.

for player X to wait to putt....depends on the wind...if NO wind and the fart LINGERS, ABSOLUTELY no penalty as this is a SAFETY ISSUE

or perhaps the Fart sounded like a "HORN BLOWING" and everyone thought it was a "CLEAR THE COURSE" action

anyway...in Round 3 today....Wiesy was super in her Ball striking...10 of 14 Fairways hit...and " 17 of 18 " GIRS....good vibes for next weeks Major....super Job Wiesy

anyway...have a good Father's Day....see ya

The ball was struck so it counts as a shot. No penalty.

There is no penalty for waiting on the shot. However the group is subject to being put on the clock at that point and given a warning. If they do not then catch up in reasonable time they will be penalized a shot.
