Awesome news Marine!!!!
The way you feel smoke free gets better, and the cravings will stop with hard work and time.

You can do it Marine!

Actually, Wiefan, I'm following Ronald Reagan's example. I have a bowl of Jelly Beans on my desk. They work. I've discovered that if you can get past the initial urge to light up, it's a breeze. Usually, a couple of Jelly Beans takes the urge away.

MP, good luck to you, any bad habit is difficult to overcome. Heck, I was born and raised in Milwaukee...home of Schlitz, Pabst, Miller, etc. Give you a clue? I'm still working at it!
Regarding the topic at hand, Wiefan, "interesting" doesn't merit you any more recognition than some of the other topics addressed here. Having said that, I would like to substitute "interesting" with "curious". I am not a rules fanatic but I am curious about the scenario you bring up. Does that make you feel just as important?

Hi ya whistling straight...hmmm I see you are "still working at it"....just kidding....anyway....when the teacher says "Interesting"....this means you just did something GOOD....so of course my chest is popping out of my training bra....so to speak....when you have had so so so much "scoldings" from the teacher, you take what you can get and "run with it"

actually, the article did present a very "Interesting" scenerio for the Rules Gurus on this site....what do you do when you don't have a marker to sign your card....if you just turn it in blindly, you take the risk of having a DQ

anyway....before I quit drinking Beer....my passion was Olympia....I did however drink Pabst Blue Ribbon while in the service, it was super cheap and inexpensive.....Schlitz has got to be the worst tasting beer in the world....Miller High Life is not too bad....I used to like the fact that Miller High Life was a clear bottle....you couldn't see the rubbish in the Brown Bottles or cans

anyway....the Teacher is going to give me a good grade I think....so you CANNOT Burst my bubble.....whoa Nellie!!! I am on a very "Positive" Roll right now

anyway....have a good day...see ya....I hope you are NOT driving....just fooling with ya!!....anyway...see ya....go Wiesy go!!

Wow-Wie, dissing a person from Milwaukee about beer...and using Olympia for credibility, now that's INTERESTING. I'll pass on any correlation between your character and mention of "training bra" along with being a Wie-maniac since she was like 14 years of age. I can understand why you haven't contributed to the thread on how to attract more male fans to the LPGA....just fooling with ya!! anyway...

I'm still curious about Wiefan's ruling scenario...trying to get back on topic.

Since golf is suppose to be a game of integrity, at lease with professionals (amateurs most of the time cheat some way or another) shouldn't they be allowed to sign their own score card? I would say most professional golfers are honest, they call penalties on themselves even when there's a lot of $$$$ involved. The rules should be, if "unintentionally" signing an incorrect score card, disqualification for that tournament. If caught "intentionally" signing an incorrect score card, that player should not be allowed to play on ANY tour for one year. If caught the second time (intentionally) barred for life as a professional. Who needs a cheater in this game.....or any professional sport.....Just my opinion....Now about using steroids, ala Jose Conseco, that's another question for another time......oooops, or did I open a can of worms???? Anyway have a good day and hit it long and straight, but not too long or else you'll be tested for steroid use and will have to go to Washington to testify.....

By the way, my guess is that anyone caught in this predicament will automaticlly say "it was unintentional or I forgot or I didn't know that rule". So before being allowed to join any professional golf association a playing pro or teaching pro should sign a document stating....I have read the rule book, I understand it and I know all the rules about playing golf in a professional manner....Because you know that the first time a player is barred from a tournament because of an infraction, someone is going to be sued.(intentional or unintentional signing of a score card) You got to cover your butt !!!!

Anyway, I really don't know why I'm blabbing about all of this.....They have a good system already.......All kidding aside, I'm really interested about how, when and if steroid testing will take place and what penalties it will occur. I know it was talked about in the past.....

Steroid testing has been a part of the PGA, and LPGA, for some time now. Just how long escapes me at the moment. What has not escaped me, or others on this board, is that, among others, both Tiger and Annika have been tested.....each more than once.

Viva Annika
