This was actually part of an Online with Laura column. In the July mailbag Laura asked Christina about her father not being on her bag anymore and this is how she responded.

“My father and I figure that five years working together (including the Futures Tour) is a long time for any player/caddie relationship. We decided that it was time for him to retire and focus on his own desires, as he had spent so much time focusing on the kids (like, try the last 22 years!!!!!). Now he is working on his own game, playing everyday at home, as well as helping a friend with business in Korea. All is well at home though! Thanks for asking.”

Here is a link to read for yourself. Second to last question.

Cougar beat me to this answer. My husband had a couple of quick chats with Mr. Kim outside the ropes during the Safeway Classic.

Wow! With an answer like that, I think that after Christina's playing days are over she could do a fine job in the field of public relations.

By the way, the latest in this soap opera is that Man(iac) is reportedly back on the bag this week. Like sands through the hourglass...so are the Days of our Lives.

P.S. In case anyone sees the preceding as harsh, I apologize. I didn't intend it that way.
