Shut down for 2007?

I greatly fear that having contested the minimum 15 events to maintain her status for 2008 Our Grace may have decided to call it a year, such as it was. Having pulled out of last week's event in Alabama, coupled with not being listed in the final field for either this week's Long's Drugs or (more telling) the Hana Bank-KOLON Championship in Korea, leads me to this presumption. I sincerely hope I am wrong, of course, and even with as many times as we've seen each other I cannot claim to know what's on her mind, but given her chronic health concerns in recent years Grace may have decided that an extended period of rest is in order before she returns to action next year. I can only pray that whatever she's decided serves her well and that she comes back refreshed and ready to compete with joy and confidence.

For those of you who don't normally glance at the SeoulSisters.com board where I regularly post I need to repeat here a couple of recent observations in this uncluttered thread. First, her website is down and has been for a few weeks; the placeholder page created by GoDaddy.com indicates the following: Notice: This domain name expired on 10/05/07 and is pending renewal or deletion. Second and more telling as to why it is down, she is no longer listed among Gaylord Sports' clients; they had been representing her for a few years and were responsible for creating and maintaining the site, such as it was. This clearly indicates some off course changes for Grace over the winter (she is still on Nike Golf's homepage).

Icecat Thanks for the info. I think all of LPGA fans will miss seeing her. It's to bad
The LPGA doesn't have a better way of communicating with the fan base.
I know I would like a true report on her and how she is doing on a regular basis.
Alas that ain't about to happen.

Well Icecat, this is actually old news. But a better question is why is Grace not playing this week in the second major. Up until Monday, the LPGA site had her listed in the field. Dang.........I really would have been ticked if I had taken a trip to see her play relying on last week's field listing.

You know, we fans keep asking the same questions about Grace these last few years. The most common? What is going on in her head? She has simply not performed this season and just doesn't look like the Grace of 4 years ago. I hope she is not suffering from any injury, but her absence this week is a bit bewildering. Does anyone know what's up with her?
