No Evian Masters

It looks like Ji Eun will not be in the field for the Evian Masters next week. I don't think she qualified. Since she is taking this week off, she will have 2 weeks off before the British Open. Not sure how to feel about that. She did well at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic, so I hope she can sustain some momentum going into the British Open. We'll just have to wait and see.

One good thing for you folks. I will probably be pretty quiet the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for the pep talk Carol.

I would imagine she has not played in the Evian Masters because she has not qualified. Maybe she just took the week off in 2006, but it seems to me like the wrong tournament to skip if you're just taking a week off. Looking at the course on TV the last few years, except for a few holes, it looks like an almost perfect course for Ji Eun, unless it is windy. Grace hits the ball pretty high off the tee and wind can play havoc with her tee shot. Can you say British Open?

In sports, momentum is so important. When anything positive happens, athletes should seize on that momentum and follow it up pretty quickly.
