Is Grace playing in the match play tourney next week in NJ? I know she hasn't qualified but hoped maybe she got an invite/wild card etc.

There's still a chance she could get in.

One would have expected the top 64 players in the world to compete in it ;but,as it's the LPGA,and they like to do things in a more random,unstructured way,it's not going to be the top 64 in the world,at all.

The top 48 from last year's money list have qualified.

After that,It starts to get a bit complicated.It appears that Grace can get in by one of three possible methods : there are two sponsor's exemptions (who haven't been picked yet) and there is also some tournament within a tournament,at the Bell Micro,whereby placings after the first two rounds will be used to filll out another ten slots.

Finally,the last four places will be based on this year's money list ( or the 'Blumenherst Factor', to give it its proper title). Grace is 49th on the money list ;and,as many in front of her will already be qualified,it's another potential route for her.

It's all as clear as day...

I think it's a fair method. It's complicated but it has to be, given how messed up the schedule is this season.
