Grace Report From Sybase

Was able to go watch Grace play her match today with Catriona Matthew. Grace hit the ball pretty solidly and played reasonably well I though. Only had one bad hole that I can remember. She was up by three at the turn and by two with four to go but couldn't hold on. But it was more of Catriona taking it from her though than Grace losing it. Catriona putted unbelievably on the back nine and was just a little better and put her balls a little closer to the pin. The last hole Grace was down one but reached the green in two on a par five and really had a shot. But she had an unbelievably difficult putt from the back of the green which she looked over forever before missing it badly. So she may not have won but she sure seemed like she was happy and healthy and hopefully we can all look forward to her playing in more tournaments in the future.

Glad to here that others from here were out there today. Followed Pressel most of the day. Tough course to walk outside the ropes (not too easy inside). My feet are killing me. Great weather today. Don't think that I can make any other days though.

I'm leaving extremely early Saturday morning. Should be at the course by 10 am. is there on-site parking or do you have to take a shuttle bus in from the parking lot? It's not obvious from the map on the web site.

You take a short shuttle from the main Spectator Parking Lot on Fowler
