As a side note, while Se Ri was in Asia, she signed a new club deal with a company called E2. Here's a video of the signing: SE RI SIGNING E2 DEAL VIDEO ![]() ![]() ![]()

BKB, great pics of one of my all time favorites. Se Ri is actually one of the reasons I started watching the LPGA. Thanks for posting these.

| ![]() Thanks for such kind words, wiefan! I assure you the Michelle Wie thread misses you over at the ss.com board...I gotta get that up to date...and thanks MP, Se Ri was also a big reason I became an LPGA fan...but initially in the reverse way...I started watching golf with Tiger's Master win in '97 as we are both part black and part Thai...then the next year I watched the US Women's Open because Jenny Chausiriporn was in a playoff with Se Ri. I was rooting for Jenny, since she's Thai...so when Se Ri won, ummmm...well I didn't take it well...I became (what's the opposite of a fan?)...well, let's just say I rooted against Se Ri...but then I began to read about her and see how her win created so much pride for Korean people and I couldn't root against her...she just seemed so nice and too much of an inspiration...eventually, I became a huge fan.

Okay, Se Ri has a great smile, and she does commendable charity work and she's a great golfer, but we must not forget that--as Jan Stephenson pointed out--Se Ri (and Grace and Mi Hyun, etc.) RUINED the LPGA.

I think Jan spent way too much time in that bathtub full of golf balls.

Hmmmm....wonder if Se Ri's poor form of late has anything to do w/ her switching to this new club company. Wasn't she with Taylormade before? Several players who've changed club companies have had a bit of a down time....Lincicome & Pettersen come to mind recently. |
