Agree! Either of the two country, it doesn't matter who will win as long as everyone's enjoyed watching the game.

I know LoJo and Putter have, but has anyone else been to a Solheim Cup?

I have been to three - 2002 at Interlachen, 2005 at Crooked Stick, and 2009 at Rich Harvest Farms.

In my experience, there is nothing like it! A great place to be - you can't get the same feeling from watching on TV, but it's a tough way to watch a tournament. With only four matches going on at a time, the crowd is all bunched up. At least on Sunday, there are 12 matches going on at once and the crowd is spread out more.

Colorado Springs this year, Dave? Good to hear you've been to a few.

I went in 2009 at Rich Harvest Farms.

As dave43 said, there's nothing else like it. The fans are more into this tournament than any regular tournament. I don't care too much who wins. It's great to see the competition.

Was going to go this year but have other commitments.

Heddwyn:

I'm not going this year. While the experience is great, there is also a lot of frustration if you actually want to see a lot of golf action. When you are competing with 10,000+ to get a good position, you miss a lot of the play. And during the first two days, we spend a lot of time waiting for the groups to come to our location.

Parker, Colorado heddwyn. Only about 20 miles from downtown Denver. Colorado Springs is about 60 miles. Only 7 miles from my hometown of Aurora. But I am not in Aurora yet.

Competition??? While I agree it SHOULD be competition, I don't think the Wie fans think that; they've been saying all along it's an exhibition and putting Wie on the team will attract interest. Be careful, they'll call you names for saying it's competition...
