Yes she did. And after that when they were walking to their balls on that hole #17, she congratulated Elosegui on her great shot close to the hole.

I do find her just too OTT and just annoying sometimes. Her birdie impressions and like her eagle putt on hole #2 I think - never going in, never even close - but we get the full body movement works as if it was on course and just shaved the hole.

But there's nothing wrong with her ethics, she has a good heart and is in no way a disgrace. I'd prefer her to Dottie Pepper's past Solheim antics any day.

There's a rule about insulting players. I'd appreciate it if you'd tone it down a bit.

MP,not wishing to side with Hally (who's probably just trolling),but he/she never insulted Christina Kim.

Many people find her on-course antics boorish and obnoxious .

Pointing that out is not insulting her ;it's a relevant issue to discuss on a message board about the game.

Just sayin'...

We're not going to revive the game of second-guessing moderators here. It only leads to trouble and bad feelings all around. MarinePaul made the call. He doesn't need a backseat moderator (also see http://www.mylpga.com/forum/mylpga/2...gulations.html - Rule 3).

She is an inspiration to many: Good athlete, going to college, a fighter, fun person (read her twitters), beautiful, triumphant, good daughter, well behaved, etc. (OK, I agree she could get rid of so many "you know"). She is like Se Ri Pak, or Ali, or Pele and so many other athletes who inspire young kids to keep on moving on the right direction. Some of these kids may be disabled with a hard life ahead but a young athlete trying to be Number One is always inspiring. Even poor unfairly disgraced Caster Semenya is an inspiration to many young persons.
Young readers, specially female, will understand what I am talking about. I guess you are not in that category.

Edit: Maybe an answer MW gave in her interview will help understand what I meant:
"But I know that I had fun this week. I know I tried my hardest. I give my hardest every single week, and whatever the outcome is, I'm going to be happy with it as long as I try my hardest.
I'm happy with it this week because I tried my hardest, I gave it my 120 percent, and I'm going to do that from now on, and I always have done that. Whether the outcome is good or bad, I'm going to try and have fun and try my hardest. "

How does Rule 3 apply in this case ?

When I replied to MP,I wasn't thinking,''I'm being a back-seat moderator,here.'' I was just giving an opinion,as one poster to another.

Why would this cause 'trouble and bad feeling all around' ?

Hally probably won't be here for long, and I'm sure me and MP aren't going to have a huge falling out over what constitutes an insult...

I think she tends to inspire a lot of middle-aged men.

If you know what I mean.

Are you a young female ? The young females I know tend to gain inspiration from people who have achieved great success.

You know, like Britney Spears and Victoria Beckham.

And if you're not a young female, why do you presume to speak for them ?

Seriously, you're comparing Michelle Wie to Se Ri Pak,Muhammad Ali and Pele ?

And people wonder why so many are dismayed at the amount of hype surrounding her...

A very positive message to young people. She may never reach the heights of Se Ri Pak, Ali of Pele. But check her internet hits and you will be awed. I do hope many young ladies prefer to go the via of Michelle Wie than that of Britney Spears. I still have hope on the future and certainly believe that young ladies distinguish hard work, discipline, and clean fun vs. moral decay, drugs and sex. How sad that you believe that decadence and fame ala Spears is more important than hard work, clean fun and morality.
