Solheim Sunday - Play by Play

For those without TGC or who don't want to download the P2P and Veetle apps, I am doing a Solheim play by play thread...most of us don't need this, but it has been brought to my attention that a few folks don't have Cup coverage live where they are...sometimes when I don't want to buy a PPV boxing match, I'll watch a round by round commentary online...

...as there are 12 matches going on and I have to type quickly, please forgive any typos or grammar boo-boos and I won't necessarily do EVERY shot, but it'll be good enough...

For the purpose of following groups I will use the shorthand of M17, M18, etc, when referring to groups as much as I can...

M17: Suzann Pettersen vs. Paula Creamer

M18: Becky Brewereton vs. Angela Stanford

M19: Helen Alfredsson vs. Michelle Wie

M20: Laura Davies vs. Brittany Lang

M21: Gwladys Nocera vs. Juli Inkster

M22: Catriona Matthew vs. Kristy McPherson

M23: Sophie Gustafson vs. Brittany Lincicome

M24: Diana Luna vs. Nicole Castrale

M25: Tania Elosegui vs. Christina Kim

M26: Maria Hjorth vs. Cristie Kerr

M27: Anna Nordvist vs. Morgan Pressel

M28: Janice Moodie vs. Natalie Gulbis

M17-Team USA fist bumping...It's on!! Pettersen hits her drive straight down broadway...good position on the fairway...Creamer, so far undefeated in singles play at Solheim, laces one right down the middle...

Interview with Beth...says she put Paula first because she is the spirit of the team and deserves it...says she tried to finish with the best putters...Natalie statistically the best putter...

I will refer to which hole they are on as H1 thru H18...

m17-h1-Paula second shot misses the green to the right into rough...Pettersen hits the front edge of the green

m17-h1-Pettersen misses birdie, but Paula misses par...Pettersen 1-up
