| Solheim Cup Info Does anyone know if there will be Computer Live scoring...and if there is...what is it like...I didn't watch the Solheim two years ago...if anyone did on the Computer...what exactly do they show also...does anyone have the times of the matches and also TV coverages....Marine Paul, I think you are in the same time zone as the Solheim...is the Time difference from Hawaii 5 or 6 hours anyway folks...all of you have a good day....by the way...in NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM is this event going to be a "Slam Dunk" for the Americans...Match Play is very interesting...anything can happen when TWO Professionals tee it up...anyone could get hot and dominate the match...just my opinion....also my opinion is that Wiesy is playing Terriffic Golf and no matter who she is partner with or has to play against...Wiesy is going to more than hold her own...she is too darn steady...to beat her, you are going to have to get hot...I think Wiesy will minimize her errors and just force others to make great shots...again...just my opinion anyway folks...all of you have a great day...see ya....$459 + tax...hmmm...HARD TO BEAT THIS DEAL!!!...I love it!!!...anyway...see ya!! |

WF..interesting to read that the package rates from Hawaii to LV are comparable to those out of the Midwest. My best friend just got back from LV with a similar deal, minus the meals, staying at Paris for about $375 and if they wanted to stay another night it would be $17 more. Extraordinary deals in the city known for gouging visitors as short of time as a year ago. I am a Vegasaholic so if you're looking for more information or insight why don't you contact me on the side and we can talk. I guess since you posted this in the Solheim Cup thread i need to get on track. Michelle's consistent performance has earned her a berth on the team however you have to admit that we are all holding our collective breath. On the other hand, given the huge potential mismatch of talent between both teams, in my opinion, this is the perfect time to give Michelle the experience which will pay off not only personally but professionally, both on tour and in future Solhieim competitions. This is the perfect scenario for her to step up and I hope she shines! |

Hi Wiefan - There was live scoring in 2007 and they showed the score of each hole for each match in real time if I remember correctly. It looks like they haven't sold out yet, which is kind of strange since the Solheim Cup usually sells out every year. You could buy a ticket and fly to Chicago from Hawaii and then from there fly to Las Vegas. Otherwise the time difference between Hawaii and Chicago is 5 hours. So when it's 10 am in Chicago, it's 5 am in Hawaii. MarinePaul in Warren, Ohio is an hour later, so when it's 5 am in Hawaii it's 11 am in Warren. |

It's frustrating this isn't a sellout, given the market, no excuse for it. You would think there would be certain inherent guarantees when a site campaigns to hold an event such as this. I guess on this site we are looking at things subjectively rather than objectively.

Would that be the first and the ONLY sell out so far? No mention of '05 or '07 being sold out. |

Wiefan, Blue was accurate in the time difference between here and Hawaii. It's a six hour difference. One way you might be able to keep up with the Solheim is to stop by the sports betting area in the casino. They'll probably have up- to- the- minute updates. They may even have live coverage on one of the many tv sets. I keep watching the World Series of Poker thinking I might see you pop up on it. You'd be easy to spot with all the Wie buttons. Have fun in Vegas, buddy.

Oh well, maybe she's not the big needle mover her fans and the Golf Channel tell us she is.
