A sacrifice for patriotism? Well, maybe not for Sophie.

Here are some actual cool looking shoes that Nike made for Trevor Immelman for the PGA Championship. Too bad he never got to wear them because he withdrew:

I'm going out to play golf today and it's about 90 degrees here. I think barefoot is the order of the day.

Here's another good one to go with Ecco sending Sophie the US Solheim shoes.

On the LPGA Home page....one of their rotating stories is headlined

"GOLF CHANNEL has the Solheim Cup covered from Tee to Green"

....and there's a photo of a golfer's foot on the putting green...

WEARING A SHOE EMBLAZONED WITH THE KOREAN FLAG ON THE HEEL.

Oh...that LPGA just kills me!

The brilliant communications and marketing chief David Higdon at work again.

Here's a screen grab in case they wake up and change it.

So, exactly where in Europe is Korea? Granted, geography has never been my best subject, but I don't think Korea is playing the Solheim.

Yeah. Do you think it was an intentional joke?

Actually, I think they'll screw it up and add the third team in the next couple of years. This is just a sign of things to come.

Would probably have been better if they were more Blue with a little yellow for highlights. :-)

And Blue said about the Korean flag on the Solhiem golf shoe, "The brilliant communications and marketing chief David Higdon at work again".

This guy should be walking with Bievens, still there huh.... amazing.

Golf Channel Video...The Approach: Solid or Shank...two Solheim questions...Will the US Team Win In A Landslide....and Will Michelle Wie Shine In Solheim...my personal opinion...shank on the first question...USA wins, no landslide...solid on the second, Michelle will play well and have a great time doing so...

LoJo, In the team picture of the U.S. team posted by bangkokbobby, I believe Juli is wearing those shoes that you referred to as butt ugly. I wonder if Ecco sent them to her also???? ha ha ha..............Maybe all the girls on the U.S. team should wear them as part of their uniform......red, white and blue with stars .....
