This week will go a long ways to putting the LPGA back in play. 120,000 in attendance and perhaps one of the largest number of golf viewers for an event on cable.

The tour needs Julie as the CEO, they can hire a better bean counter but they could not find a more inspirational leader anywhere.

Julie has respect from sponsors, players and the public at large.

Start a draft Julie movement.

So Golf Channel did their Solheim Report Card...looking at the USA grades...I disagree with Morgan Pressel's grade...I would have given her an A or A-minus...she was undefeated and should have played a fourth match instead of Inkster...Saturday afternoon, when the USA stumbled a bit, I would have had Creamer paired with Kerr and Wie paired with Pressel instead of Creamer and Juli...even though I love Juli...and I think Creamer should get the same grade, A-minus, as Christina Kim...both played well and had big wins, but both also suffered crushing blowout defeats on Saturday afternoon...

And for Europe...I don't mean to pile on...but four losses for team ace Pettersen...maybe a D is too high a grade...enough said...

Way too much use of the word 'unheralded' when describing the European players.

Oh,and Becky Brewerton isn't an 'Englishwoman'.

Somebody needs a rap on the knuckles...

It just means their peasants. No tradition of heraldry or nobile blood lines.
