| Senior Member | quit then where is the pga tour. When he is not playing the ratings drop a bunch. Both tours have problems in the future to consider. Trust me on this a combined effort of some sort is being looked at. I never watch the guys unless it's a major except Boo is near the top of the leader board.I'm sure they are looking into many options for the future.

I thought it was an amusing enough piece. Although I can't recall people ever saying,''wow, that Brittany Lang has under-achieved.'' It's only because the European team is so weak that people are questioning the Solheim's validity. It's not the time to panic,European golf could become competitive again. You don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Or something. Anyway, when we kick your arses in the Ryder Cup,next year, will people be calling for a Europe vs the Rest of the World competition, instead ?... Pax Vobiscum Saint-Just X |

The PGA Tour could care less about the LPGA. |

Do I think it would be a great idea? Yes. I would love to have seen Annika make the cut and have finished in the top twenty when she played the tour. What a lift that would have given golf, all of golf. If MW gets her short game down and becomes really proficient at it. I would like to see her play once a year with the men. If she were to finish high in one of their tournaments it would be good for golf. I would still hope she would play on the lpga tho. That is where she belongs, until maybe hopefully they one day combine them. Come on QXER. You know you watch the Wendys three tour and love it when the girls win.

I speak as one who applauded her participation in a PGA tournament the first time around. But,then, realised that Michelle's PGA tour adventures were not done to promote the women's game, they were done to promote the Michelle Wie brand. They would have to play off the same tees, which immediately puts the women at a disadvantage,as the PGA golfers would never accept the notion that certain people in the field could tee off from forward tees. For gimmick value,it would work for a very short period ;in the long run,I think it would hurt the women's game... Pax Vobiscum Saint-Just X |

If she tried with a little more maturity and finished in the top twenty then would be a great help. It is a gamble

I have to disagree with you here, buddy. There's no way shell ever be a factor on the PGA Tour. She'd be fortunate to ever make a cut, much less be in anywhere near contention. She simply doesn't have the physical stregnth to compete against the better men players.
