Harsh. I thought Lexi was your girl?

That might be it. More non-slim players on the US team than on Europe. I still think the arm holes on the sleeveless dresses (which apparently were blue not black ... need to adjust the TV) were unflattering to most.

Sheesh. I'm so excited about the Solheim Cup that I am reduced to doing a Tim Gunn impression.

Let's play golf!

As time goes on and she continues to be more concerned about her celebrity than her results on the golf course, I am drifting away as a fan. I am not giving up on her yet but unless she turns this year around and starts playing golf the way I know she can, there is no motivation on my part to remain a fan.

YES. But with Wie involved, you have to expect the mentality of a 13-year old. And, unfortunately, it's the norm to imitate the lower level...

Agreed!

And yet, Mallon made lots of talk about Wie being so good... Puzzling.

I agree that the Lang/Stanford pairing is weak for the US. Munoz/Icher appears weak too. But..hey...that's all on paper.

Regarding sitting out Wie, Thompson, Piller and Lincicome....I feel like because they're all "long bombers" they will be better used in Fourballs rather than Foursomes. Lincicome and Wie can both be wild off the tee, and both have had putting issues...not good in Foursomes. Piller and Thompson....similarly wild on occasion. They'll pair up better in Fourballs.
You make sense.

Stacy Lewis does not seem to have the personality for foursomes. She's not a sharer.

Results from morning foursomes about what I predicted.
