Question Withdrawl again at John Q

Just saw Ms. Rosales WDC'd again after a 76 in Round 1. Agree with many of you she probably isn't so much hurt........rather, it is looking like she just has a bad round and takes off. Interesting that 3 others actually made the cut with a 76 in round one and 15 with a 74 or worse. Stick it out Jenny and cut loose on day 2..........you might just surprise yourself.

I've always like Jennifer, but I'm getting a bit disillusioned by the nember of withdrawals she's had recently. If she's injured, she should apply for a medical exemption and get well, then come back and play like she's capable of. If she's not truly injured, she's doing herself, the LPGA and the fans an injustice.

Rosales WDC Again.......didn't start

Not sure Rosales is having medical issues, most likely she is having some personal or family ones that is also affecting her play..............think we won't see her now until 2007. Actually, might see her in a final qualification tournament if she missed conditional exemption / top 125.

She had such a good year last year and created a good fan base......hope she comes back next year.

No need for her to be in a qualifying tournament. JRo won in 2005, so she is exempt through the end of 2008. Her position on this year's money list, whatever it is, is irrelevant.

Unhappy Withdrawl from Longs Drug Challenge

I was looking forward to watching her at the Longs Drug Challenge in Danville and she
pulled out. Can the LPGA fine players for doing this? If not, I wonder if they'll put a limit
on the number of withdrawls and then impose a fine after the limit has been exceeded. It
doesn't look good for the tour if players are allowed to keep constantly withdrawing. Can you
imagine if Annika, Paula or Natalie kept doing that?

I was in Danville and talked to a caddie there............since she has an "ongoing" medical condition. (wrist, hand, etc) she cannot be fined............it's just how it goes............No fine !

That sucks, Cin. I was looking forward to seeing her, too. She couldn't make it due to an illness. That's really too bad. I got an email from her the Monday before the tournament saying she had been feeling ill. She said she was going to WD from the Pro-Am on Wednesday and that she might be good to go for Round 1 Thursday. I was hoping she would be ok but I guess she wasn't feeling up to it. I got the bad news early Thursday morning and I was pretty disappointed.

Despite all of that, it was still a great tournament. Annika and Karrie kept it interesting along with Ochoa and Kerr. They're all playing harder closer to the end of the season because they're all in it for Player of the Year. I'll be there next year, too. We should all get together and have a beer.

Hi ya everybody...ok....here is what I think....let's leave this girl alone.....no negative stuff about her WD again and again....she has problems that she has to work out....she is not doing anything illegal or wrong.....if she is doing something wrong like taking a spot from another player...let the LPGA Organization do it's job.....even though she might start and not finish a tournament...she is not taking a spot away....JRO EARNED this right by making herself "exempt"....I say all of this because I believe she is NOT DOING THIS WD STUFF ON PURPOSE....why would she?...when an injury or illness comes up...it just comes up....one of those things.....I don't see too many people whining about Grace when she was going through her problems.....I know that some of you are not Whining about this....but sometimes a "sarcastic" remark could be taken as such.....when people say "AGAIN"....for me that is getting whining....like I said....JRO is not doing this on purpose....she makes the effort and pays to go to these tournaments....these are expenses she doesn't have to endure if she didn't want to.....anyway....just my 2 cents....I hope she gets better....see ya!!....have a good day everyone...see ya

Cool Longs Drugs Challenge

Danny- It was a GREAT tournament!!!! I had the best time watc hing all of the players
on Friday. Annika, who started on the back nine walked off the green on #10 and had to
take that long walk to the #1 tee and I was walking right next to her! I can't imagine Tiger
Woods having to walk outside the ropes and into the crowd. It was nice to see Dorothy
Delasin having a nice tourney. Saw her sister Divina (sp?) following her group. Do they have
a sister playing on the golf team at Canada College in Redwood City? Anyway, I was so
excited about the LPGA being back in the bay area I may just volunteer next year. I was
talking to some of the volunteers and they told me it's a blast!
