Looking forward to 2006...

This year started great with Jenny's win at the SBS Open in Hawaii (beat up on Kerr and Wie :D) but all the excitement was quickly overshadowed by her nagging wrist injury. We all had pretty big expectations after her breakout year in '04 and winning the 1st tourney of '05 so I think it's safe to say we all feel a little disappointed.... not towards Jenny herself but towards the cards she's been dealt.

I just interviewed her for an upcoming article and she says her wrist problems are very likely behind her. She has been taking extra special care of her wrist and she doesn't think it will be a factor in '06. Her plans are to work hard in the offseason so she can be a huge contender next year. I am really excited about this. She sounds more dedicated than I ever before.

... check by Jenny's website in the next week to see the article I've been working on. I'm still waiting for Coach Bonglo to send me some behind the scenes pictures.

Yup... I can't wait too. I didn't know she was injured.

I also wish she could give up the smokes, every time she gets nervous, she puffs to no end.

The smoking issue has been debated before. Really, I see no problem with it. She's old enough, it's legal, and it hasn'r seemed to effect her game at all.

I have always said she is "SMOKIN". I do not see a problem with it..Not one bit. It is actually one of the reasons I go to watch her at tournaments.

SMOKIN HOTT that is.

TIME Magazine People Who Mattered 2005

Michelle Wie garnered recognition in TIME magazine's "People Who Mattered 2005" section. She is pictured resting on a golf cart at Olomana with a roost of chickens milling about.
