Methinks you doth protest too much, mrJRo!

The problem is, much as you want to keep JRo under wraps and protect her privacy etc, the fact is she has chosen to be in the public arena and therefore these matters become of public interest. Im not interested in the day to day minutae of her life, but things which actively involve her time on the course during a tournament are things people want to hear about.

Have you never wondered or commented yourself on the number of times Serena Williams or Justine Henin-Hardene call for the trainer or have a medical break when they are behind in an important match?

Have you never been part of a workplace were someone is so often away you say 'What now, a blah blah blah?'. Monday absenteeism, you've never commented on the weekend activities preventing them from working?

heddwyn,

You make some great points, I understand what you are saying. You are correct, I do protest too much. The reason being is Jen is my favorite player, and a person whom I have met, and I like her. I am probably a little biased and over protective. Sorry! I will continue to be like that..

This is a great website, have a great day.

JRO will not be Playing at the British Open!

For those of you who are interested, according to JRO's camp (announced by Danny Saiz-JRO's webmaster)...Jennifer Rosales is not playing at the Weetabix Women's British Open.

Reason: Broken toe nails.

Just kidding folks about the broken toe nails! I'm a big JRO fan!

Seriously... No official reason given. Maybe she read your posts and took your advice to rest her injuries.

Talking

As much as I hate to dish out shameless plugs, JennyRosales.com has an article detailing Jen's withdrawal from Evian. I don't have the source info because I'm in MAUI on my honeymoon and my internet service is my TREO... That's right, I said MAUI.

The article was translated by Jhune, webmaster of GoJRo.com and here's the link...

http://jennyrosales.com/modules.php?...rticle&sid=154

Mr. J.Ro and I both know Jen personally and I can tell you she is not a quiter... she is a competitor. She is not a person to withdrawal for wussy reasons so I will give her the benefit of the doubt everytime.

When she twisted her ankle earlier this year, she wanted to stay in the tournament so bad. She didn't make the decission to withdrawal until just before teeing off the next day when Donna told her that her ankle was too swolen.

As far as Weetabix is concerned, the news came from her sister and she provided no details or reasons. I could speculate but I won't because I just don't know. I do know that she is in L.A. working on her swing and resting.

I really like this forum because there are a lot of cool characters so I'll be back to let you know if I hear any updates from everyone's favorite golfer... but you can also check out JennyRosales.com.
