I agree, Blue. There have been several late withdrawals for something seemingly trivial to the average person. If she has a serious and ongoing injury then why not say so? Whatever your interest, you'd have to agree it does seem she is very frail in a health sense. 14 w/ds in two season, assuming that number is correct.

My information came from one of the caddies at the Evian, so hardly a misreported article. DS you said the article is mostly incorrect, then don't elaborate.

I think I have every right to ask why she has w/d and if you consider what I said to be flaming her, then that's your opinion. Based on past history, I don't think it is.

I think your right. You can't help but think there is a 'Personal Reason' situation occurring. Maybe JRo should let people know what's going with her just out of concern. Many players have had rough patches and needed time away from the pressure to preform, then come roaring back. As a fan I just wish her the best.

im asking this to know how her wrist is doing, not to sound like a smart a**.

but, if her wrist is bothering her, and she has to withdrawal every other week, wouldnt it be best for her to take 4,5 months off instead of traveling to the event, playing a few holes and withdrawing? or is it a play it by ear kinda thing that her wrist acts up every once in a while?

Maybe information on the extent of the injury or just say, "personal issues" or "family situation" to quiet down the speculation.
I totally agree. The problem is that the J.Ro camp consists of J.Ro and.... well, just J.Ro. That's who I take my orders from and I can't pass on the things I pick up because of my position as her webmaster. I have to wait for her to tell me what's official... so here's what's official so far.

Jenny is really disappointed with her season and she can't wait until it is done. She's working on a new swing but it's really tough for her because she doesn't like being uncompetitive. She knows the new swing will take time and she's willing to put in all the hard work that is required. She can't wait until next year where she knows she will be back atop the leader board where she belongs.

As far as Donna is concerned. Jen and Donna are still good friends. They are on a break right now while Jen figures out her swing. It is not official whether or not Donna will return as Jen's caddie but for now, she'll be caddying for Becky Morgan.

I can't say anything else because I don't have the go ahead from Jen. When I get the official stuff, I will update (here comes the shameless plug) JennyRosales.com with all the juicey info.

I agree that negative posting is not very fun to read. However, there is some validity in the criticism and questioning. To be honest, I actually made a bet with a friend at the start of the season how many times JRo would withdraw.....not to be mean....it was more like a joke considering her history. I do wish her well....we all want her to be healthy and play golf. However, she is a sponsored public person and should probably be more open about her withdrawals....otherwise she will loose fans and sponsors. Maybe she can join us here on myLPGA in the Q&A. I'm sure everyone would love to have her here. For you guys who know her.....why don't you ask her?

Just my two cents! Thanks!

Hi ya everyone....let me put my 2 cents in here....everyone agrees that an explaination would be nice....but when asking for that explaination....sarcasm preceding the question is not really necessary....I am sure if the question was asked in a civil way....Danny and/or MrJRO would have answered it.....

"a broken fingernail" comment put the JRO people on the defensive to start....this is not like in the MW/Morgan folder where there seems to be "No holds barred"....JRO's folder and those of others should be more carefully respected as their player have not gone out of the way to seek press

just my opinion on this asking for Info and how to go about getting the best results

I do agree that asking JRO to join Sophie and Karin is a terriffic Idea

by the way....that "Panic Attack" story came from 4wacks Caddy Corner....as to whether or Not 4wack actually got his story accurate is not proven nor disproven....my guess is that he was just giving an opinion....4wack's site is entertaining and sometimes very insightful....but you have to take things for what they are worth

for Danny and MrJRO....continue what you are doing....you are both Terriffic fans of JRO...she is lucky to have both of you

anyway....have a good evening everyone....see ya

I agree with Blue. Actually, Heddwyn does make a good point in that JRo, who I happen to like a lot, does seem to withdraw fairly often. Speculation will tend to grow if these withdrawals continue.

Danny, most posts in this folder have been supportive of JRo, but I think she'll continue to be subject to some criticism with the number of withdrawals.

Wiefan cited Morgan and MW's folders as no holds barred, which I can attest to from the Morgan folder only. If you want to see some negative comments, check hers out. As far as the "broken finger nail" comment, I think it may have put the JRO fans in an attack mode, but DJ's point about taking some time off is also valid. If she has some nagging injury, she should take some healing time.

Hello everyone,

I am a Jennifer Rosales fan, and I will continue to be, no matter what is written or said about her. I attend several tournaments a year to follow Jen, and I have enjoyed every one, while there I have had the good fortune to meet Jenny, her family, her friends, caddie, and coach. This is a wonderful group of people.

It disturbs me when people make negative comments about Jenny because most of these people do not know what they are talking about, nor do they base their statements on facts.
While I understand that people are curious as to what is going on with Jennifer, I think it is unfair to get negative because every single detail of Jen's personal business is not made public.

I understand that Jenny is a sponsored athlete, and that she has obligations to the fans of the LPGA, but I think people get confused about what those obligations are. Providing information about her personal life is not one of these obligations, she is entitled to privacy and courtesy involving her personal business. I am sure her sponsors are kept informed about what is going on as well as the LPGA. Each time she withdrawals there is a reason provided, but if it is not the reason everyone wants to hear then the rumors start. She provides an explanation to the LPGA and they report it to the public, any information after that is her "personal business".If these explanations are not satisfactory to her sponsors or the LPGA, I am sure it will be taken care of in private. (This is none of our business).

Jennifer is a private person who I feel meets all of her obligations to the fans. Our business is :her rankings, GIR, driving distance, and other statistics like that. Jennifer's private matters do not need to be made public, she is entitled to that!!

I cannot wait to see you back in action Jenny. Your fans love you!!

Wiefan...there is a JROmania...but unlike the Wiemaniacs they have their own Website and Danny is the Webmaster/founder/admin. They are a bunch of happy civil JRo fans and unlike the Wiemaniacs they don't raid or hijack other sites. They keep their discussions to themselves. But since JRO has a folder in this site...if you say something negative about Jenny they'll come over and defend her.
