Well then Boola, the reverse would be like girl softball players playing in major league baseball games.

Michelle Wie is a professional golfer, so the PGA belongs to her as much as it belongs to any man, no matter what the men may think.

If the men are better than her, she is no threat to them, period. The only reason for men to resent Michelle Wie participating in "men's events" is if the men are afraid she may one day beat them. And that would ruffle their macho peacock feathers.

If you want to assert your superiority over Michelle, beat her. But be prepared for the day when she beats you, because it may not be that far away.

By the way, I am a man and Michelle Wie is better than I could ever hope to be. And that's okay. If my pride is damaged because I get beat, whether by a man or a woman, who on that day is better than me, my pride was not worth much anyway.
Actually you are not correct. You have fallen into the liberal PC crowd's defintion of the PGA tour.

For example, name a female PGA touring pro, one will do, anyone from the history of golf will do?

Also, why is there an LPGA tour? There has to be a reason for the LPGA tour, does there not, so what is the reason?

You might be correct because a "Win" for Michelle is not a "Win" by any other meaning of the word.

I guarantee you that if Michelle makes the cut, she has more than "Won" the John Deere Classic.

Here is ONE - MICHELLE WIE

She has played in SEVEN PGA events, with 2 more this year. That should qualify her as a female PGA touring pro! And how many events will she have when she is finished with the PGA, in about 30 years.......oh, wait a minute......she will go on the SENIOR tour then!

Boola,

Come on now, even you can't be serious by calling Michelle Wie a PGA touring pro, she is not a member of the PGA tour. Babe Zaharias made a few cuts on the PGA tour so was she a PGA touring pro? No, she wasn't and neither is Michelle Wie.

Get back to me if Michelle ever earns a PGA tour card and then you can gloat all you want, until then you are just another "Wie-dreamer".

Guys, I was thinking about this equality thing... and figured... Oh, well... What the heck... If that Frenchman, who choked at British Open (forgot his name and don't want to bother Googling", want to play with ladies, then let him. Let's see if he can beat ladies... Food for thoughts.. I betcha that it will not be easy for him to win a tournament.

His name is Jean Van de Velde, aka choker. He's the biggest choker I've seen, but he's still got game. Prior to the pressure of coming down the stretch in a major freezing his brain, he can actually put in some low scores.

I agree VandeChoke is a sexist pig and an ass, but put any of the touring pros from either the PGA, European, or Nationwide tours in with the girls and it will get ugly. 470 yard par 5s? Eagle city.

Jean would more than likely win the women's event but of course you would hope that he does not win.
