According to her caddy, she was walking her dog, Asia last night and slipped on the stairs.
She sprained her ankle and badly swollen.

I think Jimin Kang has the same problem, causing her to withdrew.

Actually, I'm not sure if it was Asia. Donna just said she was walking her dog but she didn't say her name. I just kind of filled in the blank since Asia is Jen's favorite. I did ask Donna is her dog was hurt since Jen was carrying her and Donna said she's fine. I guess it was raining earlier that evening so the stairs were kind of slippery.

As far as the tripple bogies... grrrrr. Jenny and Donna were very disappointed. Jenny took the blame for the 2nd one and attributted it to poor ball striking on her 2nd shot. Her first snowman was a series of bad lies. When I spoke to Donna after the 1st round, she was in high spirits and she said Jenny was, too. They chalked it up as just a horrible round but they were ready to put it behind them for the 2nd round.

I told Donna it was too bad about Jenny's ankle because a lot of ignorant people would be cat calling about how she withdraws all the time (even though she doesn't). Donna said she understood but Jenny's ankle was pretty swollen at tee time and still very tender. I hope she'll make it to the next tourney.

It seems there are several wrist and ankle injuries this week. It's a shame, really. Those are the kind of injuries that tend to be the nagging kind. Hopefully, JRo will heal quivkly and be ready for next week.
