Laura Davies Talks Golf In Dubai, Course Design, Hall of Fame and Liverpool Football

from my blog: Laura Davies Talks Golf In Dubai, Hall of Fame, Course Design, Young Golf Phenoms and Liverpool Football | Fairways and Forehands

Laura Davies

Women’s golf legend Laura Davies, an 82 time winner worldwide, sat down with Sport on 7 at the recent 2012 Dubai Ladies Masters. I agree with her point about Lydia Ko’s record. It’s hard to imagine anybody breaking the record of winning an LPGA event at 15 years old. I’ve been a big women’s golf fan since Se Ri Pak and Jenny Chuasiriporn battled for the US Women’s Open in 1998. I had no idea Laura Davies was fined for watching football (soccer) during a a round in 1996. Well, when you’re a fan, I guess you have to do what you have to do!

Who doesn't like Laura the Great?
Hope she can win a major to qualify for the HOF....but gotta believe she'll get voted in although that's not the method she desires.

I was glad to see she played better in the last 2 LET events, ultimately garnering a top 10 and a top 15. I was also glad to see her win on The Legends Tour.I hope she'll win a couple of times next year on the LET. Not sure how much she'll actually be able to play on the LPGA.
