Eliza Doolittle with coach before her vocal makeover in "My Fair Lady".

Ditto, and you and me both Lojo. I miss Carin on the LPGA and more specifically contending.

Still off topic, unless Carin is auditioning for My Fair Lady, the reason why Jack Warner wanted Hepburn is because Julie Andrews was an unknown stage actress, therefore not guaranteed bankable. She also played the role in London, as did Harrison and Holloway. Plus he thought her unphotogenic. Proved wrong, wasn't he! Not so long ago Julie Andrews said publicly that Audrey Hepburn had told her she should have had the role. Btw, more trivia, Warners 'second in line' was not going to be Andrews, but more likely Elizabeth Taylor .... now that's scary!

Also Warner wanted Cary Grant for the role of Professor Higgins, which he rejected. He is supposed to have told Warner that if Harrison wasn't cast in the role, then he wouldn't even go see the movie when it was released.

Marni Nixon also sang for Deborah Kerr in 'The King and I'.

It really did not get off topic because in the OP(Opening Post) there was a reference to "The Rain In Spain Stays Mainly On The Plain"...and it was from "My Fair Lady". Evidently, "My Fair Lady" got more attention than Carin Koch!

Holy belly button Batman, Carin was one of the most photogenic ladies on tour, I miss her too. She once said that she always wanted to be a singer like Agnetha from the famous ABBA Swedish sensations. Hope she plays well this week end.
