Hi again, Wiefan! Now we have TWO of the biggest Wie Fans in the country on this board also. Although we don't always see eye to eye, on all Big Wiesy things, we DO both want only the best for her, and that is the bottom line!

As far as the Evian goes, she just had that one bad round last year. And since that was her first time playing in that country, we will have to excuse her 33rd place finish, and mark it down to her love for shopping. LOL Can you imagine her shopping in Paris?? In other words, she had other things on her mind last time and this year she can concentrate on playing golf, and competing to win a title. And I think you will agree WF, her golf game is at a much higher level this year, with all the major comprtitions she has played in!

The only bad part about Evian, is WHEN it will be televised. On a delayed basis, starting on Wednesday and ending on Saturday. I think they do that to give the girls extra time to get over to England for the British Open.
So that by the time we see it on TV, it will be all over for that day, and we will know how she did, but at least get a chance to see it. GO WIESY!

Hi ya Boola....actually, I put YOU at the top of the list of Wie Fans....I am not even close....ahh the kid is growing up and her golf game is surely improving....I like the growing up part better....with all of the criticisms that have been hurled her way, I think she has handled everything with a lot of style, grace and class....no bad mouthing of anyone, respectful of the game and her fellow competitors....what can you say....a perfect role model for the youngsters to follow

anyway....good luck to all of the ladies that made it to the Evian....should be an interesting event.....go Wiesy go!!

We might be the two biggest Wie fans on the golf DBs, but there must be a LOT of Wie fans who do not have a pc, or are not BOLD enough to post their feelings. Now Wie bashers, on the other hand, just love to blast little (in age) Michelle, don't they?

Angela, nice to have an Aussie on this board. Is Kerrie Webb your favourite?

It looks like Michelle had a tough day today in France, but she will bounce back tomorrow. Fifteen-year-olds have a lot of energy, especially ones who can blast a 300-yard drive!

Hi ya Boola....about the fans of wiesy golf NOT being bold....interesting statement....personally, I think there are just some people who's personality is to read more than write....sort of like the "silent majority"....these are the people that actually decide elections,,,,,I am sure that the majority of them can read through all of the pros and cons of this Michelle story and I think they know that she is a great kid....just my opinion....anyway....have a great day!!....see ya!!

now about her playing under "pressure"....MW has played under pressure ever since she became a "media Magnet"...if you really think about it, she just might be one of the BEST pressure players outside of Annika....think about this....in MW's 19 rounds of LPGA golf in 2005....only ONE really bad round....the 82 at the US Open, otherwise her 74 in round two of the Kraft is her highest round....let's go back to 2004....in 28 rounds of LPGA golf...MW had a 77 at Safeway and a 76 at Evian, otherwise her highest round of golf was a 74 at SamSung.....now for her to keep on playing her other "around or below" par in her last 47 rounds of golf under MAGNIFIED MEDIA SCRUTINY....now wouldn't you consider this as an accomplishment as far as playing under pressure.....people talk about playing for Money as the criteria for defining under pressure....when MW turns professional....her financial life is set....she won't be playing tournaments thinking about the money....it will be the SAME as it is now....playing for money will NEVER be an issue for her....she will never play for food or rent money....she will play because she wants to win Tournaments

wowWIE.....I have gotten carried away here....sorry....my bad....anyway....I just thought I would let everyone know where I stood in this discussion.....everyone, please have a great day....by the way....Hi ya Angela (Banjo)....see ya
You haven't changed your tune in two years, have you?
