Karrie Honored by Reeve Foundation

more pics on my blog: Karrie Webb Honored By Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation Fairways and Forehands

Hall of Famer Karrie Webb, a 38-time winner on the LPGA and 52-time winner worldwide, was honored by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation with the 2011 Christopher Reeve Spirit of Courage Award. Karrie donated $100,000 of her her winnings from the 2011 LPGA RR Donnelley Founders Cup to the Reeve Foundation. She is a longtime supporter of the Foundation. Webb’s coach, Kelvin Haller, is a quadriplegic.

“Karrie has experienced first-hand just how inspiring someone living with a spinal cord injury can be. With Kelvin by her side, Karrie has become one of the greatest golfers in history. But as remarkable as Karrie’s accomplishments on the golf course are, we believe that her greatest contributions have happened off the course.” - Alexandra Reeve Givens

I have to admit, on the course Karrie dresses for comfort and competition...nothing wrong with that, but not going to win any best dressed lists...but off the course...she looked stunning (to me) at the Reeve Foundation...really stylish and beautiful!

She looks fine, however, she looks better on the golf course.

I never pick on folks but I have to ask you.
Have you had your eyes checked lately.
I guess everybody to their own taste.
She looks great in these pictures.
Good work again BKB

Well one thing she is, is slower than death on a golf course. I have had the misfortune of following her (because she was in a group with someone I wanted to follow) a few times, and she is a constant rules violation on pace of play. The only reason I didn't alert an official was because I didn't want my player to get nailed for taking 31 seconds, when Karrie was taking 90 seconds a putt.

She is a great player, and I am glad she works with charities, but dear lord is she slow.

Really? I've followed Webbie a lot at tournaments and didn't find her to be slower than anyone else. Maybe YOUR player messed her up. To be fair, I have seen her take a bit more time on some shots, but overall, she's way faster than some on tour. In my experience going to tournaments the only person you didn't want your player to be paired with was Redman - she backed off so many shots you'd have thought she was playing 18 to 1.
