HERE WE GO IN THE STATE FARM CLASSIC...!

I think Webbie will get her first win of the year in the State Farm this week, it looks like she is beginning to find her "A" game again!

She only missed two fairways and nine greens over four rounds last week.

If she can get the putts rolling in, we may see a win to usher in her Hall of Fame induction.

Go, Karrie, go!

Actually, the Webbster would have been right in the thick of things except she had a triple bogey somewhere on Saturday. If she'd started a bit closer to the leaders on Sunday....look out!

I noticed quite a difference in Webbie's putting stance, etc. She's standing a bit further from the ball and is no longer "stiff knee'ed" as in the past. Not sure why she changed all that, but I'm sure she has her reasons. Also, I know she's made some alterations in her swing, particularly in her take-away, but she appears to be picking the club up in an attempt to get it more upright. I hope all these changes work out for her.

I agree with what you guys posted in another thread. With all these young players coming on the scene...and bringing new fans with them...and with all the new Koreans coming on strong, Webb has been sort of lost in the surge of newbies. I'd venture a guess that few of the new fans even know she's already attained HOF status and are unaware of how dominant she was just a few years ago.

Hope she can get a win this year after all her hard work.

Thanks for the information, LoJo!

Unfortunately, I have not had the pleasure of seeing Webbie play much this year, since I don't subscribe to ESPN2!

If even a few putts fall in...Webbster will win this week. I'm personally for a return of the crosshanded/locked knees/BACK OF THE CUP putting stroke.

I have never understood why they started messing around with her swing. Why change something that won her all those titles. She is always saying that she hits it good on the range then just does not trust it out on the course. It appears to be the mental game that is the problem now. Still I have no doubt she will win again soon, hopefully this weekend. :D

A solid start for a windy day, Webbie is at minus five and tied for fifth.

Hopefully she can avoid the brunt of the wind with an early tee time tomorrow, and go low!

Go, Karrie, go!
