...just in case anyone here has the thought to skip golf one Saturday to hit the tennis court...

This was recorded in 2009 when Djokovic was ranked #4. Now he’s the top ranked player in the world and reigning Wimbledon champion. These are great tips considering the time frame of the video.

from my blog: Wimbledon 2011 Champion Novak Djokovic Receives Hero’s Welcome In Serbia Fairways And Forehands

Wimbledon champion and new #1 player in the world, Novak Djokovic, received a hero’s welcome from what is being described as tens of thousands of fellow Serbians assembled at the National Assembly in Belgrade. He was escorted by bus from the airport to the square with many Serbians lining the way to catch a glimpse of their national hero. But it was upon arrival at the National Assembly that the crowds were packed, sparking a party and fireworks celebration that lasted late into the night. The trophy he carried is not the full size trophy they hand the winner on court. That stays at the All-England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. The winners get a smaller replica trophy.

Wimbledon finalist Maria Sharapova at the ESPYs. Wow...how can women wear shoes like that and still walk? Maria is 6'2" already...those shoes have to make her 6'8". Luckily, standing next to basketball player Amare Stoudemire, who is 6'10", you don't really notice how tall she is.
