Sony Pushes 3D Into 2010

.
3D TV..... its here! These links below are just a few of about how, and what Sony is doing with 3D. Some are explanations of 3D, (the first one is a explanation of 3D by Panasonic), and demos, (360 degree 3D display), other TV displays, reviews, glasses, notebooks, laptops, cameras, etc, (more on the Internet). Just a sample of the big push by Sony fully into the 3D field now. Now if I had the money to buy one, I would watch AVATAR, at home over and over and over again. :-)

Some of these links you may need to move your audio up or down.

This Weds NY Ranger-Islander game is going to be broadcast in 3D. Of course no one has a 3D TV, but I guess they have to start somewhere. (Just like all of the experimental broadcasts of the 1940's.

They will be having a viewing party at the Theater at Madison Sqaure Garden.

For all you Ranger fans Mark Messier, Adam Graves, Ron Duguay, Nick Fotiu, Ron Greschner and others will be there.

The bad part is that both teams stink.

So,recently, everyone has been purchasing HDTVs,but, surprise, surprise, they aren't compatible with the new technology. Now we're all supposed to go out and buy 3D televisions ?

The future of tv : until the next innovation which requires us to update our equipment, again,I suppose ?...

So do my Calgary Flames.... they are not in top form, and look to miss the big dance.... then again, last year they just made it, only to look sick and drop out fast. Guess if they are not up to par they may as well not put on their dancing shoes, and just build better for next year.

I can not even root for Edmonton, our Provinces other team.... as they are dragging the bottom looking for fist pick of the new rookies.

Ah well.... Van looks in, and the Sens if they can get stable, and that Canadian/French team, if they get a couple of big bruisers to protect their overall small team. GO Canada...., but I think the Yanks got this Stanley Cup in the bag, come last day. :-)

Ya, 3D large screen TV sports would rock!

You may be wrong with that prediction.... those giant, (and I mean giant), corporations and companies, in Computer Land & TV Land & Movie Land, are ga ga over the returns from views, and most of their comments on the (new) 3D tech....

They see visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads for future investment.... and they well do it, or go broke trying. This year should see if they sell or not.

And that BlueRay DVD Player..... well BlueRay is already a winner.... ala my Nephews family of four.... they are nuts over it, and now buy only BlueRay disks.

Saint we over here are so affluent, and getting more so soon.... cost starts to become a non-issue. If I am wrong, well we should all know by the years end. Until then.... I well go back, and see AVATAR in the theaters again.

I agree - it is too soon, people won't want to purchase another LCD this soon. I was an early adopter amongst my friends, they just got theirs within the last 8 months. We are cheap midwestern boys.

If you keep putting of purchasing something waiting for the next new thing then you must still be watching your crystal radio.

It will be a little will for 3D.

HD is now a commodity. No reason to not get a HDTV now if you are still using a conventional TV. Why deny yourself. Let the rich guy buy his 3D now.

I bought my HD years ago. If I had thought like that I would have missed all of those years of enjoyment.
