I like Sharapova for this.

Recently switched to Verizon Fios and now get the Tennis Channel, so have been watching a little. It looks like it is the beginning of the end for the Williams sisters.

Also had to pay a little extra to get the Golf Channel on a special sports tier, but still should be saving $60 a month (with slightly fewer channels, but who can watch all of them).

Awesome...curious...since I am considering FIOS...did you get the internet part, too...if so, can you discern any speed difference between cable internet service like Cablevision or Time Warner and Verizon's FIOS service? Also...since you are now with Verizon...I think you have free access to ESPN3.com where you can watch lots of sports videos including tennis...sometimes when I am watching a match with favorite players and they switch to another match I don't like it...but on ESPN3 if it's an event they are covering...and they are covering Roland Garros...you can go there to see the match in its entirety...plus they have tons of matches you can watch from a previous date...they also have other sports too...one of the reasons I am considering going back to Verizon...I once had DSL service with them and loved the access to ESPN3.com

I now have TV, Internet and Phone with Fios.

I used to have Optimum for TV and Internet. I had problems with signal strength in the house and had problems with certain channels. Internet caused problems with the TV. Also was expensive, but I did have the top package and had all the channels.

Separately I had Verizon for local phone but no long distance on my phone so I used to use my cell for long distance calls (since it had unlimited long distance).

Now I have Fios for TV, Internet and Phone/w long distance. I am saving $60 a month from Optimum. Yes I do have less channels in my package, but I am not really missing anything that I want. Even in that $60 savings I have something like 10 HBO's and 10 Showtime channels, plus some extra tier that I had to add for the Golf Channel.

Overall the quality is excellent on tv and internet. Internet is 25/25 M. The tv is also fast in switching channels and when selection the interactive features. They were able to use my existing cabling that was inside the house. The difference is that it is full fiber optic into the house. In my case into a box in the garage.

Overall I am very satisfied, and saving $60 a month doesn't hurt.

I haven't tried the espn3 thing. I might try it tonight.

OK the espn3 does work. You can go back and watch a whole lot of matches that have been played and what ever is live. It seems that you can also watch up to 4 separate events at the same time.

Thanks for reminding me of this, I had forgotten about it. This was not available with Optimum.

Stating that an athlete is on steroids not detected in testing just from looking at photos is not only far fetched, but stupid and insulting to the athlete. Are you some kind of specialists or just a nasty BS?

Samantha suffered LYME DISEASE starring in 2007. The disease is very hard to diagnose and in her case, it took several months. The disease, if untreated, as in her case, results in severe damage to almost all parts of the human body and mental abilities. You can read all about it in her blog and documentation about the disease. She was idle (in bed) for a long time and lost most of her strength. Fortunately, in 2008, she was diagnosed and starred treatment, that can take months, to get rid of the infection. Once recovered she had to get her strength back and hired a professional trainer. Her program does include weights, but it is mostly tennis (duh), swimming, running, cycle, etc. It is a true wonder that she recuperated and now is one of the top tennis players. I, as thousands, admire her determination to get back in shape and be probably the top double tennis player and one of the top single players.
To call her a cheater is hateful and uncalled for.
GO SAMANTHA GO

more pics and videos on my blog: Li Na, Caroline Wozniacki Roll Through Second Round At Roland Garros 2012 | Fairways and Forehands

Although Li Na has not won a tournament since her triumph at Roland Garros 2011 and had a terrible slump afterwards last year, she has been playing very well in 2012. She’s made 2 finals, losing to the #1 and #2 ranked players Victoria Azarenka and Maria Sharapova. She has 4 quarterfinal finishes. The only two times she hasn’t at least made a quarterfinal were an injury retirement and a round of 16 match against Kim Clijsters where Li should have won but lost 4 match points in a row and eventually bowed out to Kimmie. Even the loss against Sharapova in the Rome final should have been a Li victory. She was up 6-4 4-0 on Masha. So I expected her to play well at Roland Garros 2012 and so far she has. She blew Stephanie Foretz Gacon off the court in her second round match, 6-0 6-2. When asked if she sees herself winning another Roland Garros title, Li replied “Why not?” Indeed, I don’t know if she will win but I do think she has as good a chance as anybody in the draw.

Caroline Wozniacki

Another player who should feel good about her chances…especially now that she won’t have to face Serena Williams in the round of 16 (or Virginie Razzano, who followed her win over Serena with a loss)…is Caroline Wozniacki. She beat Jarmila Gajdosova, 6-1 6-4. Jarmila is such a frustrating player to watch. I mean that in a good way in that she is full of raw talent. She can hit it a ton. The problem is you have no idea where the ball is going. If Jarmila could get the right coach for her to harness her ability, she would be a real threat. For Caroline, the quest goes on for her first Major. It’s just a matter of time unless she loses interest in the game in the future. Whether she wins this Major or one later this year or 3 years from now, I don’t see her retiring without a Major unless something unforseen happens.

I quickly looked on Fios website.....$85/mth for a triple bundled.
We pay close to that alone just for HD TV.

My statement was made in jest.....I realize there's virtually zero chance an athlete can expect to pass a drug test while taking PED's.
I was merely exaggerating how Stosur is so much more ripped and muscular compared to other pros in pics....I have no against Stosur nor do I believe she's a cheater.

I participated in a 1 day ski camp with two former/retired Canadian Olympic women downhill skiers....amazing skiers....but when they were competing, their thighs were likely twice the size.

Got it Mr3putt. She does have spectacular strong thighs, but so did the Williams sisters a while back and many other top players. She is relatively short compared to the other top players. She has to compensate with strong legs her lack of far reaching moves. My apology for being rude, but there are reasons for my crying "war" when athletes are calumniated in this DB.
BTW. Did you now that President Bush also had the same disease?
