I thought the ball caught the edge of the line. Regardless, Schiavone has to suck it up and keep going. No excuses for getting wiped out 7-0 in a tiebreak.

They need to put Hawkeye in for Roland Garros instead of relying on skid marks.

Great photos and videos BKB. Great win for Li Na.

I am sure you will enjoy these two photos, that show that the French make mistakes

Li Na with the Roland Garros thropy and Francesca Schiavone with the small replica the winner takes home

OK. The mistake is cleared and both players with the correct thropy.

more pics here: Roland Garros Champion Li Na Celebrated In Beijing Fairways And Forehands

At an event co-organized by the WTA, Li Na and many of her adoring fans had a wonderful chance to celebrate her Roland Garros victory. After she won, with the quick turnaround to the grass court events, she didn’t have a chance to go home immediately. Now she was finally able to go back and bask in the glory of her win; laughing, smiling and even shedding a few tears.

from my blog: Li Na: Nike “Make Yourself” Promo Fairways And Forehands

2011 Roland Garros Champion Li Na was featured in a “Make Yourself” promo by Nike. She is the first player from China to win a Major title in singles. Her success in Paris has catapulted her to sponsorship success, signing deals with Mercedes-Benz, Haagen-Dazs and Spider Tech, among others.
