I don't watch the awards show because it's not very interesting to see people congratulating and thanking each other. Who cares.

It is interesting to see what movies are nominated because supposedly these are the best movies so it gives you an idea of what's worth watching.

I went to see Crazy Heart last night because Jeff Bridges was nominated for best actor. It was OK. The music was good. Not much of a plot and his character didn't have a lot of depth or nuance. Is it hard to play a drunk? I don't know.
