I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. One of the things I'm grateful for is the friends I've made on this site.

Thanks DB and everyone. We have Thanksgiving in October in Canada but I don't see any rules anywhere telling me I can't make a toast to yours! Hope you all had a great day.

I had the best Thanksgiving Day possible.
Some of you might remember that quite a few months ago I wrote about my daughter (one of the five) being diagnosed with breast cancer.
This past July she had a double mastectimy (sp?). A few weeks ago she completed her radiation series and her oncologist has declared her cancer free. However she is going thru a series now that is supposed to prevent the cancer from returning.
She and her sister came home from Colorado for 10 days....they just went back last Sunday morning to be with their husbands for Thanksgiving.

So there you have it, Guys 'n Gals.....I've never had a better Thanksgiving.
To show my gratitude I send what I can to The St. Jude Hospital for Children. My daughter is 38. Some of those kids at St. Jude's will never see 38. I'm hoping that my contribution will get at least one of those kids past 38.
If any of you have a spare buck or two maybe we can get a couple of them past 38.
Thanksgivings don't get any better than mine.

Viva St. Jude

Glad you had some +ve news and family together for the holidays.

38 is WAY TOO young to have cancer....I wish her good health.

Money can't buy health.....like who really cares about a 20 lbs turkey or Black Friday shopping.

90% of my charitable donations are always towards our local children's hospital.
