MarinePaul...on the hand that you knocked out elf...you had two pair you said...what two pair was it...I had top pair (queen) with a jack kicker....when you and elf went all-in...I sort of figured that it wasn't enough...sure enough, the Elf had pocket Kings...I figured you for ace/queen or king/ queen for some strange reason...all of you could see players hands that won a showdown...it just didn't show on my screen....I wonder if I had a "certain feature" that wasn't clicked on...I was looking at all of my buttons and I still cannot figure this out....elf said the showing of the hand was fast...but I was staring so closely and hard that "even Fast" I would have caught a glimpse if any showed....hmmm....anyway....perhaps at the next tournament, I can check on the feature buttons BEFORE the tournament....anyway...have a good day everyone...see ya!! |

Wiefan, congrats on a ell played game. I actually hit trip 5's on the river when I knocked Elf out. NTB said it was 2 pair. Elf had me beat, but I got lucky on the river. I lived, and ultimately died, on the river today.

Hi ya Marinepaul...a very well played game by you...you were down and scrambling...and at one point you were the chip leader on your comeback...nicely done personally, I feel sorry for xman....it seems like he was patient as ever BUT cards NEVER opened up for him as eventually the low chip stack forced him to play an all in hand that he never would have anyway...it was fun going up and down also...whew!! and to think I was the first one to go all in with my low stack...talk about ebbs and flows anyway...have a good day...see ya!! |

Wiefan, it was definitely an ebb and flow day. You, elf and I all had the chip lead at some time, but were also short stacked at some point. Xman just couldn't seem to catch any cards at all.

DB, that's not a bad way to get lucky on the river. That'd be more like Valentine's Day, my birthday and Christmas.

So what is the status of the players. I know that weifan has two victories. xman: do you want me do keep a simple table of the three top finishers per event and see who is Numero Uno at the end of the year? I believe DDPOKER keeps a record of funny money earned but I do not know how it works. I know that after three events wiefan is in first place and embarrassingly the organizer is probably last. glup You have to do something about that xman. Last edited by Elf; 02-14-2010 at 01:38 AM. |
