I read sometime ago that Meg has been ill. I can't quite remember what her problem was, but it said something about needing time off.
Didn't she and Beth Daniel just play in some team event in Spain a few weeks ago?

I knew Meg had been hospitalized some time ago due to an irregular heartbeat, but I thought that was over and done with. I think I heard not too long ago that she'd injured her shoulder, so maybe that's why she hasn't been on tour as much - pretty hard on us "old folks" hurting anything!

Nice to see her back - she's another "one of the nicest people on tour."

Yes,it was the European Nations Cup,which included traditional European nations such as the USA and Australia.

The US and the Aussies were invited to complete the twenty team field.

The Australians finished in a tie for second and the US team finished seventh (they led at the halfway point).

Slightly worrying for the Europeans when a team comprising Meg Mallon and Beth Daniel beats teams that contain potential Solheim players...
