Meg's plans for 2007?

Does anyone know what Meg's playing status/plans might be for 2007? She only played 12 events this year, highest finish T20, finishing 117th on the money list. Even though she has status on tour through 2009 by virtue of her 2004 US Open win, has any one heard rumours of a possible retirement?

An ineresting question, Blue. I think her limited schedule this year was due to some personal issues, and haven't heard anything about her thinking of retirement. If anybody would know for sure, I'd guess Cougar would be the best informed.

I understand Meg's season was cut short last year by injuries. I recall her starting the season wearing arm straps usually used for tendinitis. Didn't hear anything more about it though. She's been very quiet. I'm guessing family has been top priority for her. I can get that given what they've gone through the past few years.
I'm very bummed though. I miss seeing her play and she's not in the field this week, or yet listed in the field for the Kraft Nabisco. If she does retire I for one will be very sorry to see her move on.

Rebekah, welcome to the site. I also hope she'll play more this season. She's a lot of fun to watch.

Not sure about a retirement, but she did not play much last year due to injuries and family health issues. She has released her caddie John, so I don't think she plans on playing much this year either. If I see the right people, maybe I can find out more in Phoenix or Palm Springs.
