| Senior Member | SEVEN BIRDIES in row ties Paula for lead Q. Just talk about that run. You don't do seven birdies in a row very often, talk about what that was like for you. PAULA CREAMER: Actually, it's kind of hard to explain because the front nine I had two three putts. I was missing putts left and right. I missed a four footer on three. I three putted 4. I missed a five footer on the next hole. When you are 2 over through 11 holes, I was joking around with my caddy because this guy had his club out there. He said he probably found it in the woods. I said, ?yeah, that's where I want to throw my putter right now, in the woods,' and then I go out and I make seven in a row. But it was good, you have to hit it close to make a lot of birdies and you have to give yourself the chances for it. Here are the distances of her birdie putts........Hole 12 - 2-ft......Hole 13 - 15-ft.......... Hole 14 - 5-ft.....Hole 15 - 8-ft.....Hole 16 - 4-ft.....Hole 17 - 8-ft.....Hole 18 - 8-ft.......... .....It was the most birdies in a row she has had in her career...........her previous best was 6...............which she did several times.......like 2 or 3............the 29 on the back 9 was her lowest 9-hole score ever...........the LPGA record for most birdies in a row...........is held by GC announcer Beth Daniel who recorded 9 in a row in 1999............. ...let's hope Paula can continue her hot putting tomorrow..........

Paula leading by 5 after 2 rounds. Paula versus the field. I think the field will win this event. |

I think so too, but if Paula continues to drive the ball well and continues to get those 30 or more yds. of roll, she could virtually wrap it up today.

Paula did increase her lead by one shot in the 3rd round............now leads Pat Hurst by six........Jin Joo Hong by seven..........Birdie Kim, Suzann Petersen and Annika by eight........ ...........and Lorena by eleven...........it reminds me of her win in the Evian in '05............. ....when she led by seven after the 3rd round.............and won by eight..............she has not had a bogey in her last 45 holes............another big plus for her is that she is -14 on the back nine.............it does not look too good for the field on Sunday..........

If she were to come out in the 4th round with a white ball, it would say a lot. |

THAT Evian was from 2 years ago Paddyman...........she didn't even know what a pink ball WAS then...........but I agree...........she might think twice before she uses a pink ball tomorrow.................unless she uses it for the first time on the 18th with a five-stroke lead..................
