I hope they can figure out what's wrong with her. This has been hanging around for quite a while now.

It's very worrying that Paula's stomach problems remain undiagnosed ;and, also,to her enormous credit that she's continued to perform at such a high level.

l'd use the word 'gutsy' to describe her,but that wouldn't be the best adjective in her present circumstances...

As I remember, Paula started have the stomach problems while in Mexico. Is
this correct? The only recurring stomach problems that lasts long, may be gall
stones. Maybe to much fried or greasy food. Just a thought.

Judy Rankin said, at some point during the telecast, that Paula had flu-like symptoms. I wonder how long it will take for someone to say, Swine Flu?

She reportedly had not quite fully recovered her strength from the earlier illness, and probably just ran herself down last week. I hope that's all it is.

Many tourist get sick when in Mexico but normally get back into shape after a few days or at most a couple weeks. A while back my favorite Uncle and a cousin got Trichinellosis from eating bad pork sausages. It is such a rare disease in Mexico that when the doctors finally found out what both guys had, the uncle was to weak and died, the cousin is still around with out repercussions. Surprisingly Trichinellosis is most common in the State of Maine that any where else in the world. Whatever, with out any medical knowledge, I think Paula is suffering from the pressure of trying to be Number one and such a hunger to succeed is affecting her body. It is surprising how the body can react in some people that strive immensely to be the best in their field. I do hope she gets better and reaches her goal. (MW may keep her from the achievement of been at the top of the list). My best wishes to Paula.
As Bill Clinton would say: "it is the pressure, stupid"

Hopefully it is not that, as that one is tough to handle right now medically.

Yet on reflection of remembering some of the videos I saw of her playing at the Solheim Cup, she did look some what pale and thinner then normal, and looked as if recovering still from past illnesses.

Once.... I had a bad virus when I was in top physical form, working the oil patch.... it laid me out for 3 weeks. I lost weight and was very week after the body had expelled the virus. I went back to work, but I was only 1/2 as good as I used to be. And it took several more months, to regain the strength and stamina I had before the attack from the virus. Hopefully this is all it is for Paula, just the after effects of a virural attack, and the time it takes to fully recover. Some times it just takes time to regain all you lost, when your body has fought a big war for you. All the best Paula.

I read a couple days ago she was ill from the bug going around but it didn't seem connected to her stomach ailments earlier this year.
