Man has she grown, in more ways then just one. When she tossed College for pure golf when she started, it was is this the right thing to do or not.... thats not a question anymore. She went with her feelings, and her feelings were right. Happy 23 Miss Pink.... panthers never had it so good. :-)

I guess I have a different viewpoint on her skipping college. Sure, financially, she made a good decision to turn pro right out of high school. But there is more to life than making money at 18. She missed out on the college life. The tailgating, the road trips, the friends, the atmosphere, the education, etc. You can't put a price tag on that, and once you pass that up, you can never relive those college days. They are a once in a lifetime experience. In my opinion, at least go for one year. She will be playing on the LPGA tour for the next 20-25 years, so what is the rush to get out there when you are 18 and miss out on college life? And don't say money, she was going to make that whenever she turned professional.

During the women's am, Dottie Pepper made a comment about her college years and suggested the amateurs going onto college should experience more of the college life than she did. She implied she spent all her time on golf and did not participate in social clubs, sporting events and the like.
