Right now Brittany is looking like a solid pick for the Open if she stays hot.

yeah, i still cant believe she got DQ'd at mcdonalds because i thought she could have done great there.

i read an article on the us open website with an interview from her and she says she loves tough courses and having to work for a good round. us open is a perfect match for her.

Brittany Lang is really looking good in this tournament........she is a long driver and in this tournament she is at 290.5, tied with our Karin Sjodin who leads the LPGA this year at 288.1....and Mhairi McKay......here's how they stack up against the other driving leaders in this event sfter the first round.....The other Brittany (Lincicome) is first at 301.0.....followed by Karen Stupples at 298.0.....Laura Diaz at 297.5.......Jeong Jang at 293.0 (her normal is only 254)......Nina Reis 293.5.......Se Ri Pak is at 288.5......

Brittany Lang was in 2 majors last year......missing the cut in the Kraft Nabisco and T-2 in the US Open.........this year she improved so much that she finished T-8 in the KN........and looks set to contend again next week at the US Open......

im pretty happy with her finish despite having problems with the driver. at the beginning of the week i would have been really happy with this. i still think shes gonna win next week.
