Let's talk about Morgan

Since my Morgan is in contention in Thailand, I like to talk about Morgan Pressel. Has anybody have anything to say about her? Pro or con?
I think she going to have a good year in 2009. What do you think?
My fantasy this year is to have Morgan and Michelle Wie neck to neck in a major and the rest of the field is about 10 strokes behind! For sure that will "Move the Needle up" like the temperature at the Sahara desert.

With the leaderboard the way it is too bad it's not on tv. Hopefully Morgan will get a couple of wins this year. If she keeps playing well you just might see Morgan and Wie paired together on the back nine on Sunday.

More likely though is Morgan finishing a few holes earlier and waiting around to see if the leaders can handle the pressure.

Morgan is one fiery competitor. She has had that spirit for as long as I can remember (my niece played against her many times when they were juniors). She is a grinder and very determined. When she was younger (crazy to say considering she is only 19), everything that makes Morgan, Morgan, sometimes got in the way of her performance. Now that she is getting a little older and more mature, she is better at handling "Morgan being Morgan". She will be able to use all of her traits (that makes her who she is) to her advantage. The strongest part to her game, in my opinion, is her putting. Most players would give anything to have her short game. Sometimes she has to rely on her putting a little too much, but again, many players would love to have her putting abilities. Morgan isn't the longest hitter out there, so she has to shine in other areas. Because of her "lack of length", her putting has to be strong for four days. And when it is, like at the Kraft Nabisco, she can win any tournament.

She seems very personable in interviews, and sometimes looks likes she is having fun on the course. It was great to see her win, to get that hurdle past her. There are hints that she is doing well in Thailand but I have not seen an actual scoreboard yet.

DB, we've both been Morgan fans for quite a while. I've always enjoyed her honesty, although she's not always "politically correct." I can definitely see hwe winning a couple of times this year.

DB - Morgan is a good player, always has been a good player, and always will be a good player.... and maybe even a great player. As some have said she needs to grow up a bit and handle her emotional self better, and she has and is doing that.

She is a good one to have as a favorite player, and I think she will have a very very good year, and more then one win this year. Mostly because she is such a competitor of high skills, and loves challenges. And this year is special in those areas.... that alone will bring her to the front of the pack. Hang on tight DB, your going for maybe a high shooting star ride.

In top 2 on second round with this bunch of super players, she may just pocket and bring home this Honda baby, cross your fingers. :-)

(My opinions and not necessarily anyone else's)

PS: Cleo - last night I watched it live on Internet TV, not best pic and audio is not English but was live. The site I do not think is 24 hour, I caught it around 11pm/12am Mountain Standard time, but it probably started earlier... I think they only broadcast at the Honda for 2 hours per day. Ill see if I still have the site. Oh ya, wish it were on TV here.... but.

Let's talk about Morgan, I followed her through a practice round 2 years ago and have been a huge Morgan Pressel fan ever since, she's the real deal, Win Win Win!!! Watching her that day, I could tell her game was off just a little, but she didn't let it get to her, thanking every volenteer she met, and making time to talk with us fans, just a real sweetheart. Her Grandfather's a very cool guy also.

GO GET MORGAN PRESSEL!!!
