In addition, and I know you know this as well, you are just trying to argue, but Lorena had a lot of personal issues to deal with this past season. Next season, with the personal stuff hopefully behind her, she will win more events, but unless she turns into a Wonder Woman during this off season, she will still lose more events than she wins.

I'd still bet a fair amount of coin on Jiyai Shin being the next number one in the world. Her last two tournaments, which have seen her, surprisingly, come up short when it mattered, could be due,in part,to being mentally exhausted at the end of a year where she's done a lot of globetrotting. The break will do her good... ![]() Pax Vobiscum Saint-Just X |

Personal issues aside, I don't see any player, Lorena, Jiyai, MW, or whomever, being able to dominate the LPGA Tour. There are too many talented players for that to happen.

So, tell me how many wins does it take in a season on the LPGA tour for YOU to agree that a particular player is a dominate player?

I don't dispute that even the best players lose more often than they win. That's a given. What I AM saying is that, according to your original statement, Lorena is apparently the only player who "thinks like a champion." If you look at her win/ loss record compared to Jiyai's for this season, that argument tends to lose its validity. What I question more than anything is when did you become a mindreader? How do you know what Jiyai, Lorena, or anyone else thinks?

I can't imagine anyone winning six or seven tournaments a year in the current climate... ![]() Pax Vobiscum Saint-Just X |
