Lorena to retire indefinitely

Hi there, so it's almost official: Lorena is leaving competitive golf for a while, apparently she needs more time with her family and Foundation... the final announcement will be made on Friday, here's the link to my blog:

I'm not surprised at all.

I'm guessing her 'indefinite' will be longer than that other golfer who took an indefinite leave from the game.

I could never see Lorena hanging around into her mid-30s.

I wonder who steps up to seal the no 1 ranking ?...

I agree with you, Saint, on Lorena hanging around too long, BUT....while she has already qualified on points to make the HOF, she needs to play three(?) more years to actually get in.
I can't see her throwing away the chance to be the only Mexican in the HOF.....I think that is very important to her and her country, as well it should be.

The race for #1 might be the shot in the arm the LPGA needs for a good year....should be interesting, eh?
