Lorena Ochoa's uncle dies

I wonder if she'll play next week, My thoughts go out to her family. I wonder because often after a tragedy, athletes will go out and perform in memory of their loved ones

Oswaldo Sanchez' ( Mexican Nat'l team Soccer Goalkeeper) father fied during the world cup and he flew back for the funeral and then flew right back.

Monica Seles' (tennis) father died and 11 days later she played the French Open and probably played the best she had in a long time making the final.

and of course we know Tiger and his story.

Really,though I am glad she was able to be with her uncle.

A friend of mine met one of her uncles in Portland last year and he seemed like a nice guy. I don't know though if the uncle he talked to was this one. If he had been ill for a long time I don't think it likely.

I would suspect that she will play next week. It is a major. A week is a long enough time.
