Nice touch Carol, throw cold water on a nice moment .... keep that firm grip that you seem to have on the obvious .... and have another cup of coffee before your next post.

Lorena's "thing" is to meet and greet the Mexican ground crew, there is nothing new about this subject.

Maybe something to consider is the fact that as the number one player she must have more commitments than before, and yet she still makes the time. Good for her.

Another article about her mettings with third parties.
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/golf/...g_N.htm?csp=34
Where does she gets all that free time or is she running for election of some kind?
Anyway, it seems to work well for her. She is 5 under after the 9th hole. One behind the leaders.

ELF, (or anybody else who knows)

Does Mexico have public education?

I'm always reading about how Lorena is building schools in Mexico. Doesn't the goverment build schools?

Yes, there is public education. Actually, we have free public education all the way to University level.
But never forget, we are one of the most corrupt countries in the world.
So, resources are never enough.
Lorena's foundation sponsors a school for underpriviledge kids, so they can have a level of education that would be forbidden for them otherwise, since they had the misfortune of being born in poverty.

Of course, Mexico has hundred of thousands public schools, from Maternity Wards to Universities with all kinds of Doctorate programs. Mexico also has private schools the same way as above. Lorena?s Fund built a school in a very poor area of Guadalajara to help out, just like many other Funds do it every where. Public education in Mexico is the biggest recipient of the Federal Budget but is not enough for over 25 million potential recipients. What can Mexico do with the very poor students and/or very bad (dumb or misbehaved) students? Easy, send them to the USA.
