Spell it Right, It's Cristie Kerr!

I believe Ms. Kerr would appreciate it if you would spell her first name correctly. It is Cristie, not Christie.
Thanks!

Wiefan, I can't believe you had NO replies to your post so far. That article was all quotes about our Michelle - and WOW! Very good stuff!

You could have told about the number ONE quote of ALL TIME about Wiesy. Johnny Miller said that eventually Michelle would be able TO WIN A PGA tournament that had TIGER AND V.J. in it! BUT he explained that it could take her 10 years to do it, so she would be 25 than. Now that makes a lot of sense. But can you just imagine how many Wie bashers would jump all over that statement. I think I will post it on TGC DB, just to see how many hits it will get.

I can't wait until Monday night and Tuesday morning to see Michelle on Letterman and GMA.

I was watching a DVD I have of Michelle in the Samsung WC last year. after taking a triple bogey on a par 5 in the first round for a +3 round, she came back in the 2nd to shoot par and then shot 67 and 70, the 2nd lowest of all the other golfers for the final two rounds.. I predict that she does much better this year (Amateur or Pro).

He didn't say it would take her 10 years, rather she would have to do it in the next ten years.....there is a difference.

You are right that is a great article and is the truth.
She just may beat the guys someday.
like they said its a tall order. Most of these young guys
coming out are working out all through college so they are
getting stronger and longer all the time.
Also the lpga young ones are coming in longer and stronger also.
Thing's they are a changing.
thanks for the notice about that article.

Hi ya Boola.....actually I don't worry about people replying....there are a lot more "readers than Writers"....I just post stuff that I thought others might want to read.....actually, being a fan of Wie Golf....I know Brian and Johnny just admires Michelle's Golf game and mental attitude....but if you read Dottie's comment....it ALSO makes a bit of sense....golf is such a "longevity" sport that anything can happen....in Michelle's case....it won't matter if she waits or not....I DON'T think she will be asking for a LPGA age waiver....just by all of the things that she can potentially do....she doesn't really need the waiver....for example....she would have to play maybe in the Qualifying school....I don't think Michelle will EVER play in the Qualifying school....I think she will get her "exempt" status like S.H.Ahn and WIN a tournament to get her exempt status or maybe ask for a age waiver in the beginning of the season and use her EARNINGS from sponsor's exemption to make the TOP 90....anyway, continuing about why being an LPGA player NOW subject.... the drawbacks of Michelle getting into the LPGA at this point in time, is that she will have to play minimum 10 events to keep her card...with High School, the Punahou Carnival, certain PGA events....Potential LPGA Majors that don't count toward her ten....this could be a super full schedule....it would be MORE than she is doing now...and I think NOW she is quite comfortable with her Golf Schedule....and Like Dottie says....once she signs Professional....there are a lot of Business committments to take care of....anyway....this is just my take of things....I could be very very wrong....I think even TY Voltaw thinks my way....anyway...all of you have a great day....see ya!!

I posted the link on TGC DB and had over 50 responses already. And a little bot of a surprise, some of former Wie bashers are now saying that she could do it! So maybe we are slowly winning them over.

I think she will go with turn pro and NOT even try for her LPGA card. This way she can play both tours and still go to high school and Stanford.
