Question Cristie Kerr and The Ultimate Game?

Do any of you know if Cristie is still playing in The Ultimate Game with Jim McLean?

The reason I ask, is that when The Ultimate Game was first scheduled it did not conflict with an LPGA tour event but after rescheduling (4/29-5/4), it now conflicts with the Semgroup Championship, 5/1-5/4 in Oklahoma.

Thumbs up Cristie out of The Ultimate Game.

OK, for what it is worth, I have been told by a reliable person, that Cristie has indeed withdrawn from The Ultimate Game.

It's just as well, she had no business playing in that event anyway. It would just point out to others another case of a futile attempt by a female golfer to compete out of her league and, IMO, the LPGA tour doesn't need anymore of that sort of nonsense.

She is not playing in it. One of her sponsers is The Semgroup and she is commited to play there.

For any LPGA player to play in it they will need a special exemption from the LPGA, since it conflicts with a tournament. I also read (can't remember where) that if an LPGA player made it to the broadcast on TGC that the Ultimate Game would have to pay a sanctioning fee for using one of their players.

I'd give you the link but I can't remember where I read all of this.

There is a bald faced lie in that article, I am not going to tell you what the lie is, but believe me, it is a self-serving whopper.

Well, I doubt that the LPGA is working with him. I think that they could care less about it.

Yes, you are correct. It makes no sense for the LPGA tour to get involved with The Ultimate Game, none.
